At April 19 sitting, the RA NA Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs and Protection of Human Rights moderated by Rustam Makhmudyan debated and endorsed a group of legislative initiatives.

The Committee in the first reading debated the draft law on Making Amendment and Addenda to the RA Law on Notary and the RA draft law on Conciliator, on Making Amendments and Addenda to the RA Law on Justice Academy, the legislative package on Amending the RA Law on Local Referendum, on Making Amendments and Addenda to the Constitutional Law the RA Electoral Code presented by the RA First Deputy of Justice Artur Hovhannisyan.

The Committee considered the draft law on Amending the RA Criminal Procedure Code presented by the MP Karine Atshemyan.

The Committee proposed to include the debated draft laws in the draft law of the NA regular sittings’ agenda.
